For Turner Field’s final season, the Braves are breaking out of the bobblehead box.
Among the four figurines to be available to Braves ticket holders in 2016 will be a Skip Caray and Pete Van Wieren call bobblehead; a Chipper Jones rescues Freddie Freeman bobblehead; a Bobby Cox being carried off the field bobblehead; and an Andruw Jones catch bobblehead.
You remember when Jones saved Freeman during the snowstorm two winters ago, right?
There is an additional bobblehead and there’s still one more bobblehead to be named later. That’s six in all.
Along with the popular Bark in the Park, the team will return popular themed games like Star Wars Night and Zombie Night.
The team will celebrate the 1991 Braves’ worst-to-first squad in late July – replica championship ring included – and mark the half-way mark to St. Patrick’s Day in mid-September.
Individual game tickets go on sale Feb. 19.
