ROSWELL, Ga. — Roswell police want to know who stabbed a man before someone hit him with their car.
We first showed you the scene Wednesday on Channel 2 Action News at Noon.
Just before 5 a.m. police received a call about a man hit by a car on Marietta Highway near Coleman Road.
The driver told police the man appeared out of nowhere and went through the windshield when hit by the car.
When he got to the hospital, doctors then discovered several stab wounds on 35-year-old Lawrence Range’s body.
We don’t know if he was dropped off there in the middle of the road, pushed out of a vehicle or if he walked to that location. We absolutely have no idea,” Roswell police spokesperson Lisa Holland said.
The driver of the car remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators, Holland said.
Police said Range is unconscious in the hospital, unable to tell investigators what happened to him.
“We’re asking for the public’s help for information on Mr. Range (and) what he was doing prior to coming to Roswell. Any timeline we can establish on him would be great,” Holland said.
