One Wrong Step in Flip-Flops Proves Fatal

A visitor to Montana’s Glacier National Park is dead after one wrong step led to a 100-foot fall. Park authorities say 26-year-old Robert Durbin was taking photos by a creek on a scenic mountain road in the park when he fell into the water, reports the Missoulian. According to his brother, Durbin had stopped to look at a waterfall but was only wearing flip-flops and “lost his footing.” He was swept into a culvert that carried him beneath the road, then spit him out over a cliff.
