Man Charged After Dog Tests Positive For Meth

JACKSON COUNTY, Ga. — A Jackson County man is facing animal cruelty charges after hA Jackson County man is facing animal cruelty charges after his dog tested positive for methamphetamine.

Investigators said Marty Rogers took his small terrier-mix named Little Guy to a veterinary clinic in Hoschton.

Doctors at the veterinary clinic said Little Guy was extremely nervous, panting and pacing.

After vets discovered meth in the dog’s system, officers then searched Rogers’ home and found a quantity of the illegal drug.

Rogers was charged with cruelty to animals and Little Guy was taken away by animal control officers.
