ATLANTA — The Falcons may have lost Sunday, but it was a win for a group trying to set a new Guinness world record at the Georgia Dome after the Sunday’s game.
Paper towel maker Brawny, set a brand new Guinness world record title. The record is for the largest gathering of people wearing plaid, the outfit of choice for the Brawny man shown on the paper towel packaging. Over 1,100 people packed the field wearing their plaid shirts after the game.
Brawny also donated $50,000 to the Wounded Warrior Project, which helps wounded service men and women return to civilian life.
Brawny has given $2 million dollars to Wounded Warrior over the past four years.
It’s all part of Brawny’s ‘Stay Giant’ campaign, which celebrates the power of communities to overcome life’s daily challenges.
